This article assumes you already have an existing email account and it’s configured in Windows Mail.

Now let’s learn how to configure notifications.

Click the Settings icon, then click Notifications.

Choose the account for which you want to set up notifications.

To turn notifications on, ensure the Show notifications in the Action Center are set to On.

Then select the type of notifications you want. In this case, I’ll choose to show a notification banner and play a sound.

Click anywhere outside the Notifications window.

That’s it! The notification settings have been configured.
