Our service protects your entire cPanel/WHM server or individual accounts by backing up files, folders, MySQL databases, mailboxes, mail filters, and forwarders — plus full-account and full-server restores as needed.

Backups are stored off-site in HostXNow’s secure infrastructure featuring enterprise-grade RAID 10 storage with full encryption in transit and at rest.

Yes – the plugin supports granular recovery, enabling you to restore individual files, folders, databases, mailboxes or forwarders without needing to restore the entire server.

In WHM → Acronis Backups (or cPanel for account-level users) you select the backup timestamp, choose the account(s) or server restore option and start recovery. Please note: full-server restores will overwrite any changes since the backup point.

Any files, folders or changes made after the selected backup point may be overwritten or lost when you restore to the original location. Always ensure you have downloaded or manually preserved any newer data before restoring.

We offer daily scheduled backups as standard, and can configure more frequent snapshots if needed. (If your plan includes incremental backups, changes since the last full backup will be captured automatically.)

Yes — our team install the Acronis plugin/agent, configure backup schedules, monitor completion and provide support as part of the service. You do not need to purchase separate licences or manage the underlying infrastructure.

No — the service is provided by HostXNow using the Acronis engine. You simply select your plan and we handle the Acronis account and integration.

The plugin supports cPanel & WHM-based Linux servers. Please note that for granular database recovery MySQL local instances are supported; PostgreSQL or containerised guest environments may have limitations.

Yes — from WHM → Acronis Backups you can initiate a “Run Now” manual backup outside of the scheduled time.

Backups are encrypted in transit and at rest, stored in RAID 10 redundant storage, and only authorised users may initiate restores. HostXNow monitors the backup environment and alerts you if any jobs fail or miss their window.

In the event of server failure, you can initiate a full-server restore from the latest backup point. Because the data is securely stored off-site, you can restore to a replacement server or our infrastructure with minimal downtime.

Yes — you can move to larger storage tiers and add more servers or accounts to protect at any time. HostXNow handles the migration or expansion without disruption to your existing backups.

Standard support is included 24/7 via HostXNow’s team. We’ll assist with restore operations, plugin/agent issues and backup failures. Additional premium support or SLA options may be available on request.

Since protection is managed by HostXNow and uses Acronis, you may export/download your backed-up data in many cases. If you switch hosts, we can provide guidance or migration options so you maintain continuity of your backup history.
