How to migrate WordPress sites using the All In One Migration plugin

Learn how to migrate WordPress sites using the All In One Migration plugin.

You can easily migrate your WordPress website from your existing web hosting provider to a new web hosting provider without experiencing any downtime or data loss using the All-in-One WP Migration plugin.

The plugin is straightforward and ensures all media files, posts, pages, settings, plugins, themes, and databases are transferred just fine. This means it moves the whole website, which is excellent!

Best of all, there are six steps to do this, which you can do without needing help from your new web hosting provider (though we’ll help you with this should you need it).

Pick, purchase and install a new WordPress Hosting.

Install the “All-in-One WP Migration” plugin.

Activate the “All-in-One WP Migration” plugin.

Export a backup of the existing WordPress website.

Create a complete backup of the WordPress website.

Import the backup data to the new hosting.

Step 1: Select a web hosting plan from http://hostxnow.com/semi-dedicated-hosting/

Step 2: Install WordPress using our Softaculous Auto Script Installer, which is available with the cPanel control panel. Install and activate the plugin on your “existing” WordPress” website.

Step 3: Log in to your existing WordPress website.

Install the All-in-One WP Migration plugin.

Choose “Plugins”, “All-in-One WP Migration”, and “Activate” the plugin.

Step 4: Export a backup of the existing website by going into the WordPress admin area and clicking the “All-in-One WP Migration” plugin. Then select “Export to”. Choose “File” to save the exported data to a file.

Please note: the duration may vary based on your entire WordPress website size.

Step 5: Import/Upload the backup file to your new web hosting provider. Login to your NEW WordPress website and install the All-in-One WP Migration plugin.

Step 6: Go to the newly installed plugin and select “Import to”. Choose “File” to import/upload the backup file.

Please note: the duration may vary based on your entire WordPress website size.

Congrats, you have now made an exact copy of your WordPress website to your new web hosting provider.
