HostXNow utilises MailChannels Outbound Filtering SMTP relay service to identify spammers within our network to improve our email reputation and ensure reliable email delivery for our users.
With MailChannels Outbound Filtering, we can eliminate email delivery problems caused by IP address blacklisting. We can also automatically shut down compromised end-user accounts and scripts to improve our security. Unlike conventional email delivery services, MailChannels Outbound Filtering is the only service that accepts 100% of our email, including spam.
Are you are an existing customer?
If you are and you are pointing your domains to our nameservers, then you will not need to change anything your end. However, if you are using 3rd party DNS like Cloudflare or only pointing your domain to our server via WWW A record, then you will need to add/update the SPF record manually as follows i.e:
Replace
"v=spf1 +a +mx +ip4:xx.xx.xxx.xxx ~all"
with
"v=spf1 +a +mx +ip4:xx.xx.xxx.xxx include:relay.mailchannels.net ~all"
You need to make sure the SPF record includes "include:relay.mailchannels.net". And of course, replace xx.xx.xxx.xxx with the correct server IP.
