OVH cPanel Price Increases
First, everyone knows OVH servers are excellent due to the automation they use to ensure fast delivery of servers and Cloud services. Their prices are also unbeatable! They don’t include server management, so if you know how to administer servers yourself, OVH can be a great choice.
That said, you may not be impressed with the hassle of ordering a cPanel license through their system. I’ve contacted OVH a few different times about it via various methods, and they haven’t fixed it, so on that note, please read below.
IMPORTANT: I do not recommend purchasing any cPanel licenses via OVH brands. It’s an absolute nightmare!
You have to do lots of back and forth via email and phone to order a cPanel license for a server, and then go through it all again when you want to upgrade the license (increase the number of cPanel accounts allowed).
I recommend getting cPanel licenses directly via the cPanel store or ordering a VPS Hosting or Dedicated Server with HostXNow, which already includes cPanel and is still hosted on the excellent OVH network you know and love.
NEW cPanel Pricing For OVH VPS, Public Cloud and Dedicated Servers 2020

Because cPanel was acquired by Oakley, a decision was made to modify the prices of their licenses and billing models. The new pricing for cPanel licenses at OVH will be applicable from 1st January 2020 onwards.
New billing model for Public Cloud
Unfortunately, OVH does not offer cPanel licenses for their Public Cloud instances. You can purchase the licenses directly from the cPanel Store, which will cost nearly double the amount. If budget is an issue, signing up for a Dedicated Server with OVH would be best rather than using OVH’s Public Cloud hosting services. It will work out a lot cheaper that way.
OVH prefers that anyone using the cPanel platform use Dedicated Servers at OVH over OVH Public Cloud instances. Moreover, the pricing for cPanel is better when choosing OVH dedicated servers over their VPS range.

To summarise:
OVH servers are excellent, but you may want to purchase cPanel licenses directly via the cPanel Store or HostXNow at VPS Hosting or Dedicated Server.
I appreciate OVH automating everything as much as possible, and they do that well with their servers; it doesn’t seem they can resell cPanel licenses as quickly as the other services they offer.
